Dynamech was scheduled and successfully completed during 19th to 20th Feb 2020.
In this event, around 330 students actively participated in different events where inter departmental models were presented and demonstrated.
IEEE Xtreme Programming Competition is a 24 Hr annual hackathon and coding competition which is considered as a flagship event of IEEE in student branch perspective.
The competition is conducted every year from 2006 and the current competition of this year is named as IEEEXtreme Programming 13.0 referring to the 13th version of the competition. This is an online competition which is continuously monitored IEEE Members who act as Proctors. The program is supported by the CS Academy which is one of the Geographic Activities department. This year the competition has 5015 teams registered with nearly 151426 code submissions.
The competition started at 5.30AM IST on Oct 19,2019 and finished by 5.30AM on Oct 20,2019. The venue of the competition is the Digital Signal Processing Lab, Department of ECE, Raghu Institute of Technology. The management of the college has provided all the computing facility along with other necessary facilities to the student so that they can really enjoy the competition and have fun with coding.
Raghu Institute of Technology proudly secured 7 positions at India level under top 100 with 3 under 50 and 4 between 50 - 100. This is a great achievement when compared with last year's rank of 394. The following are the details of ranks secured (Country Level)

1. The first in series was by Dr. Tripathy who delivered Lecture in LH-30, on his research area’s main theme ‘Sentiment Analysis’. He discussed two of his SCI indexed journal papers titled i) ‘Classification of Sentiment Reviews using N-gram Machine Learning Approach, Expert System with Application, Elsevier’ and ii)“Sentiment classification using hybrid machine learning, Knowledge and information system, Springer’. This lecture infused an interest on vertical domain of text mining and sentiment analysis, among the CSE Faculty.
2. The second lecture in series was delivered in Coding Lounge, on 08-08-2019, by Dr. Bhavani Sankar Panda. He introduced his research area’s main theme ‘Expert System Development for Retrieval of Missing Data through Soft Computing Techniques’. After explaining different techniques for handling missing data, he elaborated in particular with an example wherein data sets of Medical Data (MD) and Student Data (SD) with missing attribute values, were considered. He mentioned research methods and compared the handling of missing data. This orientation lecture infused an interest on vertical domain of text mining and sentiment analysis.
3. The third in series was delivered on Dr. S. Satyanarayana on 12th Sept’19.He chose a research problem ‘Implementing Trained Neural Network Model to Classify Images’. After the back ground literature survey, an example data set of MNIST fashion dataset, he explained entire research process.
Dr.R. Kameswar Rao garu ,Dr.Satyanarayana garu along with Subhash released the poster of Asian E- Bike and Indian Go-kart Championship and principal has stated the advantage of moving towards electrical mobility. Pilla subhash CEO of Imagine to innovate briefed about the services to be offered in coming period and Insights of the 5 days event which will be hosted by Raghu Engineering Institutions.

In continuation of the Swachha Pakhwada program, 2(A) Girls Bn NCC wing of RAGHU ENGINEERING INISTITUTIONS conducted Rally in DAKAMARRI Village to bring awareness among the villagers with regard to cleanliness.
As per directives of NCC Directorate and Swacchta Pakhwada, 2(A) Girls Bn NCC wing of RAGHU ENGINEERING INISTITUTIONS conducted Seminar/Elocution on “Swachhta–The Way Ahead” and around 42 students participated in the program.
In consonance with the vision of Swachhta Pakhwada as per directives of NCC Directorate, cadets of 2(A) Girls Bn NCC wing of RAGHU ENGINEERING INISTITUTIONS have took part in Shramdaan Phase III and cleaned up the college premises and surrounding areas.
